Ingredients of Methi thepla or dhebra

  1. It’s 2 cup of whole wheat flour.
  2. It’s 3 cup of bajra (millet) flour.
  3. Prepare 500 gm of fenugreek leaves (methi leaves).
  4. Prepare 250 gm of lauki (bottle ground).
  5. Prepare 2 tsp of sugar.
  6. Prepare to taste of Salt.
  7. It’s 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
  8. It’s 1 tbsp of crushed cumin seed (zeera).
  9. Prepare 1 tbsp of crushed red chilli flakes.
  10. You need 1 tbsp of chat masala.
  11. Prepare 2 tbsp of green chilli (finely chopped).
  12. You need 3 tbsp of sesame seed.
  13. You need 1/4 cup of yogurt.
  14. It’s 2 tbsp of melted butter.
  15. It’s of Water as required.
  16. Prepare of oil for deep frying.

Methi thepla or dhebra instructions

  1. Firstly cleaned & wash (3-4 times) fenugreek leaves n finely chopped it, set aside.
  2. Grate lauki, set aside.
  3. Mix all dry ingredients then add melted butter n mix it.
  4. Add fenugreek leaves, lauki & yogurt n mix it.
  5. Make a soft dough with water(add slowly little by little At a time).
  6. Rest for 30 minutes.
  7. Take a small ball sized dough.
  8. Grease ur both hand palms n flattened it with ur palms.
  9. Deep fry it on medium high flame.
  10. Serve with raita, chatni & chaas (Lassi).
